Help the Hospices
Help the Hospices is the leading national charity that represents and promotes hospice and palliative care across the UK. It provides funding and support to help hospices deliver the highest possible standards of care.
A remarkable one-in-two people in Britain has had a family member or friend benefit from hospice care and most hospices are heavily reliant on fundraising, donations and sponsorship to survive.
Wherever we have a dairy or depot, there is a hospice close by which needs our support. Staff within the company work with Help the Hospices and their local hospices to develop fundraising initiatives at a local and national level.
To mark the launch of the partnership we unveiled the first of a fleet of 14 vehicles emblazoned with the emblem of the charity – a sunflower. Including the sunflower symbol on these vehicles makes them a ‘poster on wheels’ and gives some visibility to our support of hospices in the locale of each of our sites.
